Born in Lima, Perú and brought up in a large family who enjoys cooking, I was always surrounded by a wonderful variety of fresh produce and ingredients.
Food has always been at the centre of Peruvian culture. The diversity of regions and climates together with the fusion of Spanish/European, African, Chinese and Japanese cuisines, established in Perú since colonial times and beyond, has made me curious about trying new recipes.
